Unified in Christ
Week 3, Day 1
As Christians, we often spend more time focused on what makes us different than what unites us. We separate ourselves into denominations based on interpretations of scripture and into churches based on worship preferences. We divide ourselves into Sunday School classes and small groups based on age, stage of life, and what differentiates ourselves from each other. In Ephesians 4:1-5, Paul calls us to focus on what we have in common, not what makes us different. In this way, we will mature as we build relationships with one another that are grounded in a unity in Christ.
-What is most challenging to you about being united with all believers in your faith?
-What is it that makes you lose your focus on unity?
