Week Two, Day Five
Trust Enough to Ask
Read Ruth 3:7-9
When we ask Jesus to be our Redeemer, we propose to Him just as Ruth did. We ask Him to enter a covenant with us and for Him to make us His own. His death on the cross paid the ultimate price for all your failings, rebellion, and sin. He loves you more deeply than you can imagine and more passionately than you deserve. Put your trust in the Redeemer. Sit at His feet, ask for His salvation, request the covering of His forgiveness and love. He brings healing for the past, joy in the present, and hope for your future.
If you are ready to sit at Jesus’ feet and accept Him as your Redeemer, pray this simple prayer. Reach out to us and let us know you’ve made this decision. We want to welcome you into our family tree and equip you to live into your new identity with joy.
Prayer for Today: Jesus, I need a Redeemer. I’ve made a mess of my life and I’ve tried to make it right myself. I can’t do it anymore. I accept your gift of redemption. Thank you for paying the price for my disobedience. I don’t deserve it, but I humbly accept your gift of grace and mercy. Thank you for giving me a new family and a new identity. Jesus, help me become more like You for the sake of others. Amen.
