Friday, February 18th - Becoming More Certain

“But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus, and not only by his coming but also by the comfort you had given him. He told us about your longing for me, your deep sorrow, your ardent concern for me, so that my joy was greater than ever.” - 2 Corinthians 7:6-7 (NIV)

How are you today?

Are you in a season of suffering? Don’t withdraw or put on a mask of “I’m fine.” Reach out to God’s people. Open yourself up to His comfort as you trust others with your situation and your story. Be vulnerable and find acceptance.

Are you doing OK? Are you really doing OK? If so, look around. To whom can you show comfort? With whom can you share the certainty of God’s presence? Because you have been comforted, you are called to bring God’s presence to others in need. Encourage them. Help them see they are not alone. Pray with and for them. Be the body of Christ and bring the comfort of God’s presence to them in their pain.
