Jesus said these words in the graphic to the Father as He prayed what is known as Jesus’ “High Priestly Prayer.” One of Jesus’ prayers before He went to the cross was that we receive the fullness of His joy within us. The reason Jesus came to earth was to save us from our sins and in the rescuing and redemption we receive, we will be able to live in the fullness of His joy – not just in heaven but here on earth.
