The days between Christmas and New Year are some of my favorite days of the year. The busyness of the holidays is finally winding down, and a new year is quickly on the horizon. There’s this odd feeling of being in-limbo during that time that I find comforting – a time to rest, reflect, and go easy on ourselves.
Maybe you’ve had a great year, or maybe you’ve felt like 2021 was just an extended version of 2020 and you’re just glad to be standing. Wherever you are, and whatever condition you find yourself during these in-between days leading up to the new year, you’re invited to spend some time with us at the feet of the Father this week.
We’ll focus on refreshing our hearts, minds, bodies, and souls – before we start the resolution list or take down the decorations. Let’s make time to pause, rest, and reflect in His presence, and spend time rejuvenating our spirits!
How do you spend your days between Christmas and the new year?
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” – 2 Corinthians 5:17 ESV
