“But God sent me ahead of you to preserve for you a remnant on earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance.”Genesis 45:7 (NIV)
“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.” Genesis 50:20 (NIV)
Did you know there is a greater purpose for your suffering? Have you discovered there is a larger meaning to your successes? You are part of a community where God is working all things out for His good. As He works things out for His good, He is also working things out for your good. Your success isn’t found in the impact you make individually, but in the impact you make collectively for the sake of others in the world. What may seem like failure and disappointment, may be the very thing God uses to work in the lives of the people around you. Your faithfulness in the difficult seasons might be the very thing that helps others in your community find redemption and reconciliation. Don’t look for certainty in the success of your own life; find certainty in the way God is using your life for the benefit of the community.
