Week Five, Day Two
Who is someone you’re thankful for? Who is someone with whom you feel at peace? When we think of being at peace with others, we often think of the people we like and with whom we have a good relationship. When others are peaceful with us it’s easy for us to respond with peace toward them. But what if it’s more difficult to pursue peace with someone? What do you do when someone else isn’t pursuing peace with you? Paul’s letter to the Romans explains that all people everywhere have access to the richness of God’s grace. That salvation is available to everyone. As recipients of that gift of grace we are to live our lives in response to it. We are to demonstrate the Gospel in our own lives through offering peace to everyone.
